Kopi Coffee House was recommended to me by a friend. I tried it for the first time this week with friends visiting from out of state and they were amazed by how delicious their lattes were. The baristas were extremely friendly. They gave one of my friends a sample of the ube syrup. We got the sweet cream latte, ube latte, and the lemongrass latte. All of the lattes were delicious. Dairy alternatives were FREE. No charge. Love how innovative their drinks were. Nothing tastes artificial either. I love how it's super vintage and retro inside. A great place to work. Super lowkey! I definitely want to revisit and know that this is the perfect cafe to be a local at!

Such a cute coffee shop! I was visiting Portland from LA and was interested in this place because the unique drinks they have. This coffee shop is located off a main street so we just parked a block down and walked. It wasn't too busy since it was a Wednesday morning. The baristas were nice and the drinks came out fairly fast! I got an iced latte with the house made vanilla syrup and my boyfriend got the frooty ube. My drink was good, not too sweet but the vanilla flavor wasn't that strong. The frooty ube was really sweet and tasted just like "milk and cereal" kinda flavor. It came with a whipped cream top and fruity pebbles on top.

Located on Burnside, this coffee shop offers something unique to the Portland area: coffee from SE Asia! They offer so many unique drinks, such as the ube blossom latte, brulee latte, frooty ube, and their most famous, the kedai susu. All of the drinks that I've tried from here are so fun and delicious. Their ube is fragrant, strong, and always balanced perfectly with their coffee. And speaking of coffee, their coffee is strong and their cold brews are delicious. The inside of the coffee house offers some seating for studying or chatting with friends. Decorations are cute and enters you into somewhat of a SE Asian vibe. Service here is very kind and quick. Highly recommend to check this spot out!

I went to Kopi last time I was in Portland and just had to visit it again. I love their unique concept of blending southeastern touches to their coffee flavors. Their kedai susu is a MUST, you won't find it anywhere else in Portland (or maybe the entire west coast). It tastes almost like a chai latte but more coconut-y. They have a seating area but their hours are really limited. Everyday they close at 2pm so it's not really meant for afternoon studying. Parking in this area is hard so you better hope you get lucky with street parking.
